Project Overview

Schedule35 is a leading provider of magic mushrooms (shrooms) products prepared for microdosing. These products include shroom-infused capsules, flavored teas, and chocolate bars, making it easy and enjoyable to experience the benefits of psilocybin. They also sell card games to add some fun while enjoying these treats.

Goals

Schedule35’s main goal was to attract more visitors to its website by improving its search engine rankings, which would lead to more online sales. The brand also wanted to become a trusted source by sharing helpful information about using psilocybin, positioning itself as the go-to store for top-quality shroom edibles in the USA and Canada.
Initially, the website only had two blog articles. The plan was to create and optimize new blog posts so they could rank higher in search engine results.

What We Did

Informative Blog Articles

Content is good; quality content is king. We started by improving Schedule35’s online presence and authority, writing helpful blog posts about the best ways to use shrooms, ordering shroom edibles online, and guides on dosages for different shroom edibles. These posts included helpful tips, clear instructions, and practical advice for people interested in microdosing.

  • The choice of topics we wrote on was driven by high-ROI primary keywords. Each article is optimized with relevant keywords to improve visibility on search engines and attract organic traffic.
  • We also considered geo-targeted keywords to capture markets in different regions of the USA and Canada. For example, well-optimized articles were written on keywords like “can you order shrooms in New York,” “Where to buy shrooms In Florida,” and even “buy shrooms in Seattle,” among others.
  • We also included optimized meta descriptions, branded images with descriptive alt text, used proper headings for better structure, and added video guides where needed.
  • To ensure the articles were accurate and high-quality, we enlisted writers and editors with expertise in psychedelics. This approach helped make the content trustworthy and authoritative, following Google’s E-E-A-T (Experience, Expertise, Authoritativeness, and Trustworthiness) guidelines.

Technical SEO Audit

Our routine technical audits of the website allowed us to pinpoint and resolve key issues, boosting its technical efficiency. These audits involved an in-depth analysis of vital components like core web vitals, canonical tags, internal links, duplicate content, and indexing errors.
We made these adjustments and strengthened the website’s structure.
The primary goal of doing these technical SEO audits was to enhance the site’s user experience. However, experience from other projects has shown that such improvements also play a crucial role in boosting search engine rankings. This project was not an exception.

High-Quality Backlinks

We strategically implemented a robust link-building campaign to further enhance Schedule35’s online presence for a boost in monthly recurring revenue (MRR).
We carefully chose websites with an active blog section that met our standards for quality. Then, we reached out to their owners with personalized messages. After negotiations, we secured links from trusted sites with high domain authority.
Since starting the project in June 2024, our team has successfully built 190 high-quality links from blogs and websites within the same industry.

Strategic Guest Posting

As an extension of our link building strategy, we also implemented strategic guest posting to help the site rank higher in search results. Our tactics, this time, included targeted link insertions and guest posting on influential, niche-relevant websites.
The articles written for the guest posts were optimized for on-page SEO, including title tags, meta descriptions, proper Header tags, and alt texts for images. They also naturally included links to Schedule35’s product pages and existing blog articles using optimized anchor texts

Results

265% Increase in Organic Traffic

After our SEO strategy implementation, we began to notice significant traffic growth months earlier than anticipated. It showed that our strategy for growing the brand’s MRR was working.
Initially, the organic monthly traffic was 3,500, but with our dedicated efforts, it steadily rose each month, reaching 12,800 at the review time. This impressive 265% boost in organic traffic confirmed that the website’s reach is expanding and the e-commerce store is attracting a much larger audience.

331% More Keywords in Top 10 Position

When we were onboarded for this project in June, Schedule35 had only 126 organic keywords ranking in search results.
We understood that e-commerce shoppers convert quickly, so higher rankings can immediately impact revenue. We prioritized increasing the ranking of organic keywords on SERP.
After implementing our comprehensive SEO strategy, which included publishing new content for relevant keywords and optimizing existing pages, the keyword count has risen to 544. This 331% increase in keyword visibility has significantly enhanced the site’s presence across search engines.

35% Growth in Domain Rating

Since starting the project in June 2024, our team has successfully built 190 high-quality, niche-relevant backlinks from authoritative psychedelic-oriented websites. This helped to enhance the site’s authority and credibility within the magic mushroom edibles market. It also led to the growth of the site’s domain rating from 28 to 38.
